Welcome to our collection of artificial bird of paradise. This tropical plant is used world-wide as an ornamental garden and house plant because of its toleration of soil conditions and resistance to frost. It also doesn’t hurt that in optimal conditions it can bloom up to 4 times a year. When I look of at the flower it is obvious to me how the plant got its name. But I learned recently that it derives its name not from its shape but because the sunbirds of Africa are the pollinators of this species. I simply love the vibrant red, orange and blue plumage that evoke a feeling that I’m looking a mythical bird of great importance in society. That’s why we have decided to include the silk plant in our collection.
While we don’t have a ton of selections to choose from, our small collection is dripping with style and grace. We’ve tried to capture the beauty of this tropical in both its juvenile stage without flowers and with the iconic flowers included. Our fake bird of paradise without flowers makes a wonderful large leaf tropical addition to your project. The leaves on this plant are a rich dark green and naturally bend out for a rather large display. So, if you are looking for a space saver this plant is probably not for you. While they aren’t exceedingly tall, the span up to 5 feet wide. With that in mind, it make sense to measure your space and make sure it will fit before you make a purchase.
Our flowering bird of paradise also contain those large luscious leaves and include the elegant floral heads that will bring a rather dull space to life with a pop of vibrant color. This special kind of indoor plant mirrors the shape of the banana plant, except it grows the striking, orange and yellow bird-of-paradise flower instead of fruit. All are made from a high-quality polyester silk material that ensures the durability and natural appearance you crave.
The final step of any installation of our products is to decide whether you would like it potted in a plastic pot or decorative planter, or unpotted. Unpotted plants can be dropped easily into the decorative pot of your choice. Or purchase one of our complete designs that comes with hanging pothos in a decorative basket so you can pull it out of the box and set it up with no work. Imagine how a small tropical plant will dress up the staircase landing in your home or envision a larger version gracing the front hallway.
If you are having problems figuring out your space or just aren’t sure if our artificial bird of paradise will work for our project, snap a photo, take some measurements and send them to us. We’d be happy to help you complete your design.
