Some of the most popular uses for our designs include tight area filler, privacy screens, and room dividers. Let’s look at each of these a little closer. I often get calls from a patron who has a tight room with a chair, desk, side table combo and they have some dead space in the corner that they want to fill. The problem is they only have about 2 feet of space to work with. So what can you do? You can’t install a tree or a palm or a floor plant because they are just too wide. But you can install a bunch of decorative grass and dress it up with the planter of your choice and viola, you’re all done.

Privacy screens are another popular use for this product. We often will use a long rectangular planter with 3 or 4 of your favorite artificial grass choices and create a wall that allows light in but is still difficult to see through.

A similar installation can be used in restaurants as a room divider, where you want to separate a waiting area or restroom entrance with your dining room. Purchase the right size slim rectangular planter, add pea stone or another heavy medium into the bottom for stability and then utilize slender tall grass for your privacy. With so many colors and heights to choose from, you should be able to find the perfect solution for your interior design project.

Recently, I had a customer send us a photo of 9 tall PVC green grasses she had purchased for her home. She had a kitchen area and a sitting area with a couch back to the kitchen. She purchased a long low black rectangular planter and the grass to create a screen between the two spaces. The outcome was amazing.
