Bring a little of your family vacation home with you by collecting little trinkets such as seashells. Seashells are plentiful on nearly any beach and they can be used for so many different arts and crafts once you get home. Speaking from experience, even when you think you have collected enough shells – collect some more because you will be surprised how much you will use.
This week, my family and I are on an amazing beach vacation. My kids could not have been more excited about collecting shells on the shore to take home with them. Not only do they have the cute little shells that every beach has, but they also have a plentiful supply of sand dollars. Sand dollars are one of my personal favorites for collecting because they can be used in so many different ways.
Next week when we get home I will be doing at least 4 or 5 projects with my kids. Here are some of the great tutorials you can look forward to:
- Sand Dollar Christmas Ornaments
- Sand Dollar and Seashell Shadow Boxes
- Framed Sand Dollar Art
- Broken Sand Dollar Art
- Sand Dollar Garland
- Sand Dollar Sign
- Sand Dollar Wreath
