Happy Halloween everyone! Before your get dressed in your favorite costumes and head out the door for Trick or Treat, take a couple minutes to dress up your mantle for your guests. I took previous projects that we did over the last month and arranged them together above a bookcase in my home, adding one very special last-minute detail, a custom Halloween garland made out of ribbon and some left over skull buttons from my frame project. This is how I did it.
Supplies:
Tacky Craft Glue
Thin Grosgrain Ribbon
Skull Buttons
Step 1:
Roll out a length of ribbon on a flat surface. I used my kitchen island but you could do this at your dining room table or right on the floor.
Step 2:
At even distances, glue your buttons directly onto the ribbon using the tacky glue.
Step 3:
Allow the glue to dry completely before hanging the garland from your mantle or using it around an artificial Halloween tree.
Above all, have a great time with your kids tonight and have a safe Trick-or-Treat outing.
