How to Design a Beautiful Garden Balcony

Step 1: Clear & Clean

Before you can redesign your balcony, you must first clear it off and give it a good cleaning. As you clear your existing furniture, think about what items you want to keep and which ones you don’t mind getting rid of. Pieces that you want to keep can be incorporated into your new design.

Step 2: Add a Screen

It does not matter how beautiful your balcony is, if you don’t have a great seating area you won’t use it. If you want to use it for relaxing and dining, consider a pair of lounge chairs with a great side table in between. A bistro set is also a great option for tight spaces.

Step 4: Add Plenty of Plants & Accessories

With your furniture in place, you now know exactly how much space is left for additional plants and accessories. Fill that added space with artificial outdoor plants, outdoor storage, or even a patio cooler. If you are short on floor space, go up with the help of a pair of artificial hanging plants. Just keep one thing in mind as you finish off your balcony design. If it doesn’t serve a purpose, don’t put it on your balcony. Make sure the square footage you have is used for items that that love and which will draw you outdoors.
