You can meticulously wind lights around those in your yard or purchase a pre-lighted palm to add a warm-weathered whimsy to your holiday décor. Place these palms on your front porch, foyer, back patio, or playroom. They look beautiful by themselves but are especially fun when loads of presents are piled under them.

Decorating with Sea Shells

You are just a can of spray paint and some found seashells away from tropical holiday decorations your guests will love. Purchase paints that coordinate with your holiday color scheme and spray paint your beach finds. Hang the painted shells from ribbon and use them as ornaments or pile them up in a bowl for a Christmas centerpiece.

Quick tip though, make sure you soak all found shells in a mixture of bleach and water to make sure you get rid of gross smells and bacteria left from former inhabitants.
