Do you have expansive flowerbeds that run around your house or along your property line? If so, you know how difficult it can be to have a place for everything and everything close at hand while you are hunched over your flowerbeds. Instead of loading a bucket with the bare necessities, or running back and forth to your potting table for supplies, try this helpful solution.
Repurpose a Serving Cart
There are many different styles of serving carts that are specifically designed for outdoor use. They are made out of weather-resistant materials such as wicker and teak and are already on wheels, making them easy to move around.
Instead of getting one to use for serving, deck it out with everything you need to tend to your garden. On the bottom shelf, place potting soil, fertilizer, and your large or heavy items. Use the top shelf to line up your clippers, trowels, rakes, gloves, watering cans, pots, and other goodies.
As you work your way around your garden you will be able to push the cart along with you. When you are done for the day you can simply roll the whole cart into a shed or your garage and you will be ready to go the next time you head outdoors.
