Elevate Your Decor with a Silk Flower Arrangement

Because a silk flower arrangement will last for years, it should take on the character of the décor and meld with its surroundings.The first step in selecting an arrangement is to look at the space it will go in. Ask yourself questions such as: Where exactly do I want to place the flower arrangement? What are the most prevalent colors in that area? What mood or expression does the room convey?Once you’ve answered these questions, consider asking yourself whether you need any light to enhance the area. It’s good to know that natural light will always beautify any flower arrangement. Consider other factors such as size and convenience. If your location is the dining room table, you don’t want a flower bouquet that is too long or too wide to the extent that it disturbs your dinner.Remember to choose silk flowers that will blend in with the prevalent colors of the space you are decorating. Different shades of a color will always blend with each other. Silk flowers with violet petals naturally mix with other flowers that have blue or purple petals. Consider the colors of the stems and accents as well.Finally, decide what style planter or stand you want your arrangement to be displayed in. Does the design on the container bring forth an antique or Roman expression? Or does the expression lean more towards contemporary and modern?Take into account your décor and make sure the arrangement matches perfectly. If you didn’t, decide whether your flowers will be on a glass top table, on the window sill, or on a wooden coffee table. There are hundreds of surfaces to choose from and use. The beauty and overall expression your arrangement will almost certainly elevate your décor.
