If you gravitate toward ombre fabrics and home décor pieces, you are sure to love this Valentine bouquet. Ombre is anything that starts at one shade and gradually lightens or darkens from there. Creating this look is easier than you may think. The key is all in the flower selection.
Start Dark
The top of your bouquet is going to feature your darkest flowers. These are also going to be the flowers with the largest blooms. Your first decision is whether you want to create a bouquet in red or pink tones. If you are going red, you may want to look at a dark magnolia flower.
Medium Tones
It is time to add in your medium tones. Red lovers, gradually surround your magnolias with some anemones, arranging them in your fist as you go. I
Lighten Up
Elizabeth roses or other pale red flowers will finish your bouquet. When you have all your stems bunched and your petals perfectly arranged, try wrapping the stems with a rubber band. Then you can trim all your stems so they are even and slide them into your vest.
This same process can be followed with any color scheme. You can make this beautiful bouquet last even longer if you make it using artificial flowers. Best of all, when Valentine’s Day is over you can relocate the bouquet to a nightstand, bathroom, or mantle and enjoy it for months to come.
