Women are accustomed to receiving flowers on Valentine’s day but what about the men that we love? I have to say, this bacon bouquet is the best Valentine’s gift that I have seen for men in a very long time. An extremely crafty girlfriend made this delicious Valentine’s gift for her boyfriend today. How does it compare to the Valentine’s Day gifts you received?
Here is What You Need:
- Cheap Muffin Pan
- Drill
- Thick Cut Bacon
- 12 Fake Roses
Step 1:
Drill a hole in the center of the bottom of each well of the muffin pan. This hole is essential for allowing the grease drip off from the bacon to exit the bottom of the pan. It is easy to purchase inexpensive muffin pans at your local dollar store for this project so that you do not have to ruin your best pan.
Step 2:
Roll each piece of bacon up on itself into a spiral shape. When you are done, the piece of bacon should resemble that of a rose bud. Place a piece of rolled up bacon into the muffin pan, using the edges of the pan to stand the rose bud up.
Step 3:
Once all the wells of the muffin pan have been filled with a piece of bacon, go ahead and place the pan over a cooling rack that has been placed inside another cookie sheet or roasting pan. This gives a place for the grease drippings to go while the bacon is baking. Place the pan in an oven that has been set to 375 degree oven and allow them to bake for 30 minutes or until the bacon is cooked through.
Step 4:
While the bacon is cooking, go ahead and remove the rose heads from a dozen artificial roses, leaving the stems in tact. It is a good idea if you also have green gardening tape in case the base of the rose comes apart from the stem.
Step 5:
Slide each bacon rosette back onto the stem and greenery base, place all the bacon roses into a vase and give the bouquet to your husband or boyfriend for a Valentine’s Day gift he will never forget.
What man would not fall in love with this adorable and delicious Valentine’s Day gift for men?
