DIY: Baby Shower Centerpiece

Beautiful decorations will take your baby shower to the next level. If you are planning a shower for a friend, consider making stunning floral arrangements out of artificial flowers instead of fresh flowers. Not only will they look bright and fresh, but the mother-to-be can then take them home and use them in the nursery.

Here is What You Need:

You just need a couple supplies to construct these stunning centerpieces. These are the supplies you will need for each centerpiece.

  • Candlestick
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Artificial Flowers
  • Foam Sphere

Step 1: Choose artificial flowers that either coordinate with the nursery colors or celebrate the gender of the baby being born. If the mother-to-be has a favorite flower it would be an extra special touch to add them into the arrangement. Gerber daisies are available in a variety of vibrant colors and are perfect for little girls.

Step 2: Glue your foam sphere to the candlestick using your hot glue gun. If you ever choose to remove the candlestick later on you can peel off the glue and your candlestick will not be damaged.

Step 3: Clip the stem of your flowers so that they are only a couple inches long.

Step 4: One at a time, place a dab of glue on the end of the stem and poke it into the sphere. If you are only using one flower you can just keep going until you can no longer see the sphere underneath. If you are using a variety of different flowers, space them all out so that there is an even mixture of them.
