If you aren’t quite ready to make the switch from real to artificial trees, why not consider preserved trees instead? They give you that same low-maintenance benefit of artificial trees with the genuine qualities that you are looking for. Today, preserved trees are available in some truly stunning varieties, including Eucalyptus, Bonsai, and Juniper.
Eucalyptus
Eucalyptus is one of my favorite varieties of preserved trees because of the different looks that you can get with this plant. Some preserved eucalyptus plants feature rich greenery while others are a softer sage color. There are even some that come with a rich purple hue to their leaves. Each of these are beautiful in their own ways but I have to say that my favorite is the one with purple foliage.
Bonsai
An asian-themed room just would not be complete without a bonsai tree. But who has the time to learn about the art of pruning these demanding little trees? Purchasing a pre-pruned preserved tree is the best of both worlds because there is no fear that you are going to make a catastrophic mistake with the clippers.
Juniper
When it comes to evergreens, Juniper offers such full, rich foliage. The dark green color is stunning and the natural cone shape lends this tree beautiful to topiaries. A pair of these preserved trees would be a show-stopper when placed on either side of your front door.
Preserved trees come in a wide range of sizes and styles. You have the elegant topiary, the traditional floor plant, the small plant that tucks away on a shelf, large centerpiece plants that are just calling to be placed in the center of a dining table or on their own independent plant stands. Which style is your favorite?
