Decorate a Festive Flocked Christmas Tree

We often share with you our favorite Holiday items but we rarely get to see how you use them to transform your home for the holidays. An artificial Christmas tree is a great blank slate to transform into a festive part of your living room. Every now and then, we are honored by receiving a picture from a customer of one of our products in use. Today, we are going to share with you our Flocked Alaskan Christmas tree and how one customer used it to decorate her formal living room.

The Look:

Our customer started with our flocked Alaskan tree pre lit with beautiful white lights. this monochromatic starting point gave her the freedom to choose any ornament color combination she wanted. Red and silvery white is a classic duo that looks fantastic against the light grey tones of the couch and the area rug. The key to making glass ball ornaments look great is choosing various sizes and finishes to add visual interest. A star on top and plenty of present wrapped in the same color scheme finish off the look beautifully.

This tree is incredibly lifelike. I was so thrilled when I rec’d it because I have ordered many expensive quality trees in the past and they were not at all as pictured. I am obsessed with Christmas decorating and have 4 artificial trees in my home. This is by far and wide the best one yet. If you are hemming and hawing about the tree, don’t, just buy it you will not be disappointed. This tree can stand alone with out a single ornament on it and look fabulous. There are no big gaps that you need to fill with filler etc. The wonderful thing about the white tree with white lights is that the sky is the limit with decorations. You can use any color scheme and it all looks fabulous. Next year I plan to change it to a tiffany blue theme. My only wish is that is came with a couple of storage bags. I ordered the 9ft tree and it came in 2 boxes which are hard to pack up again once it has been disassembled. My hope is that the flock doesn’t yellow over time. This tree is a KEEPER!! I am considering buying another one by Vickerman next year since it was so impressive.
