DIY Succulent Arrangement
1. Pick a container
The right container sets the stage for your finished arrangement. Will you go for a modern vessel or something more rustic?
2. Add Floral Foam
Cut a piece of floral foam to place inside the vessel. The floral foam should stop a couple inches below the rim of the container.
3. Choose Succulents
When you are choosing individual succulents to use to make your own arrangements, take three things into consideration: leaf size, texture, and color. Choose at least three different varieties to fill your contain with.
4. Arrange the Succulents
Place a focal plant in the center of the pot, inserting it directly into the florist foam. Then surround it with the other succulents in a pleasing pattern. Cascading succulents can be used to add interest along the sides of the planter. When you are done, you will be left with a custom succulent arrangement that will be part of your home for many years to come.
