Are you looking for the perfect centerpiece for a beach wedding? I was fortunate enough to have just attended a stunning beachfront wedding that featured beautiful centerpieces that were created on a tight budget. Try these beach wedding centerpieces for yourself and be sure to send us pictures of how they come together for you.
Candles
These casual, yet elegant candles were made with a mason jar, tea light candle, lace, and raffia. Simply take a mason jar and wrap a length of lace around it, securing the two ends to the jar and to each other using strong adhesive. On top of the lace, tie a piece of raffia in a bow. Once you have done this, all you have to do it place a handful of sand in the bottom of the jar and top it off with a single tea light. Make sure to use an unscented candle if you are placing this on a dining table because scented candles can throw off the smell of the food.
Succulents
The central feature of this centerpiece arrangement was a small wooden crate that was casually lined with a piece of burlap. A clear tray filled with succulents was then placed into the burlap-lined crate, finishing the look. If you have trouble finding wooden crates, you could always substitute a wicker basket.
Simple Linens
The beach was the star of the show at this wedding. To make sure the dunes and the beach shined, the bride and groom kept the table linens simple. Folding tables were covered with plain white tablecloths and surrounded by white chairs. White plates and napkins finished the table setting.
Variations
If you want to have flowers present, take the mason jars that you made and fill them with artificial stems of calla lilies, fresh baby’s breath, or beach grasses.
