Create a new look for your home with silk topiaries. The term silk topiary is used in the industry, but it should be known that most topiaries today are made with plastic and can be placed outside or inside your home or office. When you are selecting a topiary for your space you need to consider several factors including site, size and color before selecting your topiary. We’ll look at these factors in more detail in this article.
The first thing you’ll want to do is choose the area in the garden, home or office that you want to place the artificial topiary plant in. Stand back and look at the area. Notice the shapes of the space that will surround the topiary. How does it flow? Do you see a pattern? Artificial topiaries range from being sculpted to being very natural looking. For example a boxwood spiral topiary has clean lines and a cedar spiral topiary looks more natural and bushy. The topiary should match the look of the space.
After you have answered the above questions now ask yourself exactly what size do you need for your topiary. We measure all of our topiaries from the ground up. You will want to take that into account when you measuring. You also need to consider the width of your planter. You may want to choose a rosemary topiary for a wide planter or a tea leaf topiary for a slender smaller planter. One other consideration for size it do you have enough room around the base of the topiary to plant annuals. The color will draw in your guests gaze and they won’t even notice the topiary is artificial.
The final thing to consider with an artificial topiary implementation is the exposure to the elements. If a topiary will be installed in a covered area, just about any topiary will work. If a topiary is being installed in direct sunlight, you may want to consider purchasing a topiary with UV protection built into its leaves. This will keep the topiary from turning blue over time.

Our most popular topiary is the boxwood topiary.
