The place itself would be more like a place of entertainment or park with silk plants where people go to spend their time with all willingness. We believe he wasn’t too far off in his predictions.

Many of our present day offices have made their premises so beautiful through the adoption of proper interior and outdoor decoration. They have created such a congenial atmosphere that people love to visit the offices and work there. Take the internet giants Google & Yahoo. They both have beautiful cafeterias, day care centers for kids and relax rooms with video games and workout rooms and courts to blow off steam.

The interior design in an office environment should make the employees feel at home and make visitors feel confident. The walls, their color and tone, the wall plaques, the table top decorations of silk flower arrangements all count toward the creation of a beautiful environment. The rugs add to the beauty and act as noise reducers and ward of echo. The monotony of waiting is removed through the convenient furniture and visual themes. You may also add artificial greenery to give it a more natural and relaxed atmosphere .

The building up of confidence is done indirectly by the presence of tall palm trees outside the office, a preserved palm tree in the corner -if possible – or artificial topiaries in the waiting room. Green soothes and invigorates.  The reception and office cabinets or rooms can be decorated with proper table top pieces and the wall with artistic paintings and plaques. The dotting of the office with hanging baskets having artificial silk plants or silk flower arrangements, enhances its beauty and destroys the empty feeling.
