1. Create a Custom Artificial Arrangement

The most beautiful artificial arrangements are those which have many different textures, heights, colors, and plant varieties. Save hundreds on these elaborate arrangements by making them at home. Start by choosing a beautiful large pot or urn. Fill the vessel with floral foam that will offer sturdy support to your artificial stems.

Start by placing a couple tall palm leaves in the center of the floral foam at an angle, so that they fan out different directions. Once they are in place, start layering in other artificial flowers, such as orchids, birds of paradise, and other tropical flowers. This arrangement will look even more amazing if you combine two or three different varieties of artificial palm leaves.

2. Create a Table Runner

Are you planning a beach wedding or a tropical dinner party? Line up standard 6-foot folding tables, cover them with a plain white tablecloth, and lay a handful of beautiful staring palm leaves end to end down the center of the table. Snip off the stems of these artificials to get rid of some of the bulk.

Start layering seashells, candles, water glasses, and small floral arrangements on top of the calm fronds for a beautiful centerpiece that will be the talk of all your guests.

3. Wrap the Inside of a Glass Vase

A dead giveaway of artificial floral arrangements are the plastic stems. Solve this problem by using a simple palm leaf and wrapping it around the inside of a glass cylinder vase before filling the vase with artificial stems. The artificial palm leaf adds a layer of interest and conceals the artificial stems all at the same time.

4. Gilded Leaves

If you love all things gold, gilded, or metallic, this is the project for you. Take some large artificial palm leaves and spray paint both sides of them with metallic spray paint. Once the paint is dry, place a couple of them into a vase with a narrow neck and use them on a table, desk, or countertop. Arrange your finished gilded arrangement with other metallic items in the same finish for a modern and upscale look.

5. Monochromatic Displays of Palm Leaves

Choose a vessel that mirrors the beautiful green color of the palm leaves themselves. Empty green wine bottles are the perfect option. Simply remove the labels from used bottles and slide a single palm frond into the end of each wine bottle. Line them up down the center of a bar, table, or counter to create tall centerpieces that are easy to make and ultra affordable.
