Have you always wanted to add floor plants to your home but aren’t quite sure where to start? Here are five places that are sure to benefit from a bit of greenery.
Framing French Doors
Artificial floor plants are a great way to bring the outdoors inside. Flank a set of French doors with a pair of floor plants to invite you to your outdoor space.
Warm Up a Hallway
If you have a cold tiled hallway that is short on space, warm it up with the addition of some silk trees or plants. If you have a wide hallway, consider placing a pair of matching plants across from one another.
In a Dark Corner
Do you have a dark corner in your living room or bedroom; breathe a little life into it with the addition of an artificial tree. Make a beautiful little vignette by adding a basket and an urn next to it.
In a Dining Room
Dining Rooms can tent do be a little stark. You often have a table and a buffet, all with straight lines and hard surfaces. Break things up and add a soft touch by placing floor plants next to a hutch or buffet.
To Reinforce Theme
If you have a themed room, a plant is a great way to reinforce that theme. A beach retreat is made more beautiful with the addition of a palm. A tropical bedroom is even more beautiful with a birds of paradise sitting next to the dresser. A southwestern style isn’t complete without a cactus.
